Project Title

Advanced Research Grant (ARG), Government of India, sponsored project titled “In-Context Learning and Multimodal Reasoning in Large Language Model: Foundations and Applications in Scholarly Information Access”

The selected candidate will work on research involving large language models, multimodal reasoning, machine learning, and scholarly information access.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must possess one of the following qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent discipline

• M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent discipline

Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks throughout their academic career, as per applicable Government of India norms.

GATE Requirement

A valid GATE score is preferred.

Fellowship

The selected candidate will receive:

• JRF: INR 48,100 per month, inclusive of basic fellowship and HRA

• SRF: INR 54,600 per month after promotion, subject to eligibility and applicable rules

The JRF may be promoted to Senior Research Fellow after satisfactory performance of two years and fulfilment of the relevant Government of India conditions.

Tenure

The maximum tenure of the fellowship is:

5 years

The appointment will be temporary and co-terminus with the research project.
