About the Project

The project aims to strengthen India's capabilities in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) by developing skilled human resources through advanced education, research, innovation, and industry collaboration. It focuses on promoting technical excellence in drone technologies, Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC), simulation, and autonomous systems.

Essential Qualifications

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Applicants should possess:

• Master's degree in one of the following disciplines:

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Electronics & Communication Engineering

  • Aerospace Engineering

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Computer Science & Engineering

  • Or an equivalent discipline

• Qualified in a national-level examination (such as GATE/NET or equivalent).

Desirable:

• Experience in UAS development, GNC-related projects, or relevant research.

• At least one year of relevant experience.

Project Associate

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor's degree in:

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Electronics & Communication Engineering

  • Aerospace Engineering

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Computer Science & Engineering

  • Or an equivalent discipline.

Desirable:

• Experience in UAS development, GNC-related projects, or related technical work.

• At least one year of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates will:

• Contribute to the development of Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) algorithms.

• Participate in simulation and modelling of unmanned aerial systems.

• Support research and development activities related to drone technologies.

• Assist in project implementation, testing, documentation, and technical reporting.
