The PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur has invited applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an ANRF-PMECRG sponsored research project titled “Post-Quantum Secure and Verifiable Auction Framework for National e-Governance.”

The project focuses on designing and developing a post-quantum secure and publicly verifiable auction framework for National e-Governance applications, addressing future quantum-era security challenges in e-auction and e-tendering systems.

Position Details

Project Objective

The selected candidate will work on:

• Designing and developing a post-quantum secure auction framework for National e-Governance applications.

• Building publicly verifiable e-auction and e-tendering systems.

• Addressing future quantum-era cybersecurity challenges in digital governance systems.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess:

• B.E./B.Tech with M.E./M.Tech or equivalent in CSE/IT, OR

• B.Sc. with M.Sc. in Mathematics or a related discipline.

• Candidates should have qualified a national-level examination such as GATE/NET, with a First Class academic record.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years

Desirable Skills

Preference will be given to candidates having knowledge or experience in:

• Cryptography

• Post-Quantum Cryptography

• Linear Algebra

• Abstract Algebra

• Programming

Fellowship

• ₹37,000 per month

• House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per Institute norms.

Duration of Appointment

• Initially for one year.

• Extendable for another year based on:

  • Satisfactory performance, and

  • Availability of project funds.

Selection Process

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on eligibility and applications received.

• The walk-in test/interview will be conducted in online/offline mode.

• Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email.
