Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess:
Mechanical Engineering or allied disciplines relevant to the project
First Class throughout academic career
Age Limit
Maximum 35 years
Age relaxation applicable for OBC, SC, ST, and Women candidates as per norms
Preference
GATE/NET qualified candidates will be preferred
Desirable Skills
Candidates with experience in the following areas will be given preference:
Fabrication techniques
Thermodynamic modelling
Simulation and analysis
ANSYS
COMSOL
MATLAB
Hydrogen and fuel cell technologies
About the Project
The research aims to develop a compact thermo-electric generator integrated with a PEM electrolyser for onboard hydrogen production. The generated hydrogen will be utilized for co-firing in compression ignition engines to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions, supporting India's clean energy and National Green Hydrogen Mission objectives.
