The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Kancheepuram, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, is inviting applications for two prestigious sponsored research projects. Funded by ICMR and ARMREB-DRDO, these positions offer an excellent opportunity for researchers to engage in cutting-edge technological advancements.

Project 1: ICMR Sponsored Project

• Position: Project Research Scientist - I (Non-Medical)

• Department: Electronics & Communication Engineering

• Principal Investigator: Dr. Rohini P / Dr. Pandiyarasan V

• Eligibility: Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG degrees) OR a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.

• Remuneration: INR 56,000/- per month + 10% HRA (if no accommodation is provided by the institute).

• Tenure: 1 Year.

Project 2: ARMREB-DRDO Sponsored Project

• Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• Project Title: Design and Development of a Dual-Mode Coplanar-Capacitive and Piezo-Resistive Sensor for Safe and Adaptive Human Robot Interaction.

• Principal Investigator: Dr. Tejendra Dixit

• Eligibility: B.Tech (EE, ECE, EI / ME, Robotics) OR M.Tech (ECE, VLSI / ME, Robotics, Mechatronics).

• Remuneration: INR 37,000/- per month + 30% HRA (if no accommodation is provided by the institute).

• Tenure: Initially for 1 Year (Extendable up to 3 years based on candidate performance and project continuation).
