Project Associate-I Vacancy Under ANRF Sponsored Project

The Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi has invited applications for the post of Project Associate-I (PA-I) under the ANRF-sponsored research project titled:

“Te-MobiX: Safe and Degradation-Controlled Batteries with Efficient Charging for Tropical e-Mobility Excellence”

The project is funded under the Mission for Advancement in High-impact Areas (MAHA), Government of India. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for this temporary research opportunity at IIT (BHU) Varanasi.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

• Postgraduate Degree in Basic Science
  OR

• Graduate / Postgraduate Degree in Engineering / Professional Course

Selection should be through any one of the following:

Eligible Categories:

1. Candidates selected through:

   • GATE

   • CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship)

2. Candidates selected through National Level Examinations conducted by:

   • IIT (BHU) Varanasi

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Basic understanding of:

  • Electrochemistry

  • Electrochemical characterization

  • Interfacial science

  • Battery fabrication

• Hands-on laboratory experience involving:

  • Electrode/electrolyte interfaces

  • Cell assembly techniques

• Good analytical and experimental aptitude

• Academic writing and research documentation skills
