The Division of Genetics at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, has announced a walk-in interview for a Research Associate I position. This role is purely on a contractual basis and is part of a project funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT).

• Project Title: Mapping and transfer of novel resistance gene for multiple biotic stresses in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.).

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:

• Ph.D. in Genetics, Plant Breeding, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Biotechnology, or an equivalent degree.

• OR Have 3 years of research experience with at least one research paper published in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Desirable Experience

• Expertise in high throughput marker analysis.

• Experience in handling bioinformatic tools.

• Exposure to phenotyping of field crops.
