Online Interview: Project Associate-I Opening at ICAR-IARI, New Delhi

The Division of Plant Physiology at the ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, is inviting applications for an online interview to fill a temporary, contractual position for a Project Associate-I.

The position is funded under a CCRH research project and is co-terminus with the project (it does not confer any right for regular appointment).


Project Details

  • Project Title: "Field assessment of the efficacy of Homoeopathic medicines as biostimulants for improving yield in mung bean"

  • Funding Agency: Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH)

  • Position Available: Project Associate-I (01 Post)


Fellowship & Emoluments

  • Stipend: INR 31,000 + 24% HRA per month


Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualifications

  • Essential: Master’s degree in Plant Physiology / Botany / Biotechnology / Plant Science / Life Science or an equivalent qualification.

  • Desirable: Prior research experience in field work.

2. Age Limit

  • Upper Age Limit: 35 years.

  • Age Relaxation: 3 years for OBC candidates, and 5 years for SC/ST and women candidates as per government guidelines.


Application Requirements

Candidates must submit a soft copy of their application including:

  • Bio-data: Prepared according to the format given in the official notification's Annexure 1. It must contain complete academic details starting from 10th standard up to the maximum qualification, explicitly including the percentage of marks obtained, distinctions, or medals won (used for calculating academic scores).

  • Photograph: A recent passport-size photograph must be affixed to the bio-data.

  • Certificates: Attested copies of 10th, 12th, Under-graduation, Post-graduation, and any other relevant certificates.

  • No Objection Certificate (NOC): Required from the current employer if the candidate is currently working.

Note: If candidates do not fill in their marks or fail to attach the relevant attested certificates, their academic score will not be awarded.
