The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) has invited applications for the positions of Senior Business Development Manager, Postdoctoral Fellow, and Research Associate under the Research Centre for Materials Processing Technologies.

The appointments are initially for 24 months, providing an excellent opportunity for experienced researchers and professionals to contribute to advanced materials processing research and innovation.

Research Project

Research Centre for Materials Processing Technologies

The selected candidates will assist the Project Leader in research and innovation activities undertaken by the Research Centre. The Senior Business Development Manager will be appointed at the substantive level of Senior Research Fellow / Senior Project Fellow.

Key Responsibilities

The appointees will:

• Support the Project Leader in research and project execution.

• Contribute to research and technology development in materials processing.

• Assist with project coordination, innovation activities, and knowledge transfer.

• Support industry collaboration and research commercialization initiatives.

• Participate in research dissemination and project management.

Eligibility Criteria

Senior Business Development Manager

Applicants should have:

• A doctoral degree.

• At least six years of postdoctoral research experience or equivalent qualifications and experience.

Postdoctoral Fellow

Applicants should have:

• A doctoral degree or an equivalent qualification.

• No more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application.

Research Associate

Applicants should have:

• A Master's degree or a good honours degree.

• At least three years of research or relevant work experience.
