Project Title

“Tectono-geomorphic Evolution of the Himalayan Seismic Gaps: Insights from a UAV Survey”

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

• M.Sc., M.Tech. or an equivalent degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science or a related discipline

• At least 55% marks from a recognised university

• Valid NET or GATE qualification

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with relevant research experience in:

• Geomorphology and sedimentology

• Remote sensing

• Drone-based data acquisition and processing

• Python-based image processing

• Data analysis and report preparation

• Research manuscript writing

• Himalayan-region studies

Fellowship

• First and Second Year: INR 37,000 per month plus HRA

• Third Year as SRF: INR 42,000 per month plus HRA

The fellowship will be governed by ANRF and university rules.

Duration

The initial appointment will be for one year and may be extended for a further two years based on satisfactory performance.

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 30 years. Relaxation of up to five years will be applicable to SC, ST, OBC, PwD and women candidates according to Government of India rules.
