Research Assistant

• Number of Positions: 01

• Monthly Fellowship: INR 37,000 consolidated

• Duration: 6 months

Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree in any Social Science discipline with at least 55% marks. Preference will be given to candidates possessing NET, M.Phil. or Ph.D.

Desirable Skills:

• Remote Sensing and GIS

• Google Earth Engine

• MODIS, Landsat, Sentinel and ERA5 datasets

• Python or R programming

• Spatial statistics and machine learning

• Socio-economic survey data analysis

• Willingness to undertake fieldwork in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh

Field Investigator

• Number of Positions: 02

• Monthly Fellowship: INR 20,000 consolidated

• Duration: 6 months

Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in any Social Science discipline with at least 55% marks. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed a four-year undergraduate programme.

Desirable Skills:

• Household and socio-economic surveys

• Processing of satellite datasets

• Python or R programming

• GPS and mobile-based survey applications

• Communication skills in Hindi and local languages

• Willingness to travel across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh

The duration may be extended based on satisfactory performance and project requirements.
