Project Title

“Dissecting the interplay between Melatonin and Epigallocatechin-3-Gallate in regulating iron deficiency in tomato plants”

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess an M.Sc. or M.Tech. with at least 55% marks in one of the following or a related discipline:

• Environmental Sciences

• Botany

• Biotechnology

• Life Sciences

Applicants must also have qualified any one of the following examinations:

• NET

• GATE

• Another national-level examination conducted by DST, DBT, DRDO, ICAR, ICMR, or a recognised agency

Fellowship

The selected candidate will receive:

• INR 37,000 per month plus HRA for the first two years

• INR 42,000 per month plus HRA for the third year

The fellowship will be governed by ANRF rules.

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 28 years.

Relaxation of up to five years may be provided to eligible SC, ST, OBC, PH, and female candidates as per applicable norms.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with relevant research experience will be given preference.

Experience in areas such as plant physiology, environmental stress biology, molecular biology, biotechnology, or related laboratory techniques may be useful for the project.

Important Note

The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
