The Department of Media and Communication, Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), Thiruvarur invites applications from eligible candidates for the position of Research Associate under the HEFA-CSR Project. This is an excellent opportunity for researchers with expertise in media, digital communication, and digital literacy to contribute to a socially impactful research project.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will assist the Project Coordinator in:

• Execution of the research project

• Preparation of digital learning modules

• Fieldwork and data collection

• Report preparation

• Other project-related academic and research activities

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• M.A. in Mass Communication / M.Sc. Electronic Media or an equivalent degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA.

• NET/M.Phil./Ph.D.

• Minimum 2 years of research experience, academic experience as a Research Assistant in a project, or relevant industry/institutional experience.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Research experience in relevant fields

• Knowledge of video production

• Proficiency in Tamil language for fieldwork

Age Limit

• 35 years

• Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of India norms.
