The Child Rights Centre (CRC), Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna, has invited online applications from eligible and motivated candidates for the post of Research Associate on a contractual basis under a project supported by Child Rights and You (CRY), New Delhi.

Position Details

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in any of the following disciplines:

• Social Work

• Law

• Women’s Studies and Child Protection

• Development Studies

• Sociology

• Any other related discipline from a recognized institution

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

Applicants with the following qualifications and skills will be preferred:

• Minimum two years of experience as a researcher on social science research projects, preferably in:

  • Child protection

  • Child rights

  • Cybercrimes

  • Related areas

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

• Fluency in English and Hindi

• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel

• Knowledge of data analysis and survey tools such as:

  • SPSS

  • Excel

  • Kobo Toolbox

  • ODK

• Ability to work within strict timelines and deliver high-quality outputs

• Strong teamwork and collaborative skills

Roles and Responsibilities

The selected Research Associate will:

• Work closely with the leadership of the Child Rights Centre (CRC), CNLU

• Support and advance the Centre’s research and programme objectives

• Undertake research activities in accordance with the requirements of CNLU, CRC, and CRY

• Contribute to research outputs, documentation, and programme implementation activities
