About the Role

The Research Associate will:

• Collaborate directly with the Principal Investigator, Dr. Matt Kraft.

• Conduct background research on teacher labor market and education policy topics.

• Analyze large-scale labor market datasets.

• Support ongoing quantitative research projects.

• Work with research team members and external collaborators.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• A Master's degree in a relevant discipline.

• 2–5 years of research experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

• Experience using Stata and/or R for data analysis.

• Interest in education research.

• Experience with K–12 education and/or federal datasets (including Bureau of Labor Statistics datasets) is desirable.

Desired Skills

Successful candidates should demonstrate:

• Experience in data management and statistical analysis.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Proficiency with Google Workspace applications.
