Project Description
The research project focuses on developing and investigating Graphene and Hexagonal Boron Nitride (hBN) nanocomposites for electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding applications in the THz range.
Research Areas Involved
Nanocomposite synthesis
Hydrothermal synthesis
Chemical vapour deposition
THz Time Domain Spectroscopy (THz TDS)
EMI shielding analysis
Optical and Raman characterization
The selected candidate may also be required to conduct research activities at collaborating institutes.
Job Role
The Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will be responsible for:
Designing and performing research experiments
Data analysis and interpretation
Writing reports and manuscripts
Maintaining laboratory notebooks and research records
Fellowship Details
Year | Fellowship |

3rd Year | INR 43,000 per month + HRA |
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess:
Educational Qualification
B.Sc. in Physics / Applied Physics / Materials Science / Nanoscience with minimum 55% marks
M.Sc. in Physics / Applied Physics / Materials Science / Nanoscience with minimum 55% marks
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates having:
CSIR-UGC NET qualification (including Lectureship)
GATE qualification
Prior experimental research experience
Practical experience in:
Raman Spectroscopy
Optical Microscopy
Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
UV-Vis Spectroscopy
