BHU Recruitment 2026: Project Research Associate in Zoology Section, Mahila Mahavidyalaya

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has invited applications for the position of Project Research Associate in the Zoology Section, Mahila Mahavidyalaya under the Bridge Grant Scheme of the Institution of Eminence (IoE). The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Position Details

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should possess:

• M.Sc. in:

  • Zoology

  • Life Sciences (Animal Sciences)

  • Biochemistry

  • Biotechnology

  • Related disciplines

• Minimum 55% marks

• Consistently good academic record

Age Limit

• Below 40 years

• Relaxation of 5 years for:

  • SC/ST candidates

  • Female candidates

As per Government of India rules, preference will be given to SC/ST candidates when all other criteria are equal.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with experience in the following areas will be preferred:

• Mammalian reproductive physiology

• Molecular biology and related laboratory techniques

• Cell line maintenance and handling

• Experimental research in life sciences
