Project Details

Project Title:
“Exploring the Native Isolates of Entomopathogenic Fungi (EPF) for the Development of Potential Myco-Insecticide”

The project focuses on identifying and evaluating native entomopathogenic fungi for developing eco-friendly biological control solutions against insect pests.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • M.Sc. in:

    • Agricultural Entomology

    • Zoology

    • Plant Pathology

    • Biotechnology

  • Minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.

Age Limit

  • Maximum age: 32 years

  • Relaxation of 5 years for:

    • SC/ST candidates

    • Physically Handicapped candidates

    • Female candidates

  • Reservation and relaxations will be applicable as per Government of India rules.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

  • Insect culturing

  • Entomopathogenic fungi (EPF) isolation

  • Media preparation

  • Data collection and analysis

  • Molecular biology techniques

  • Laboratory and field research activities

Fellowship

INR 30,000 per month (Fixed Fellowship)
