Position Overview

Minimum Eligibility & Academic Requirements

To be considered for this prestigious leadership role, candidates must meet the following stringent criteria:

1. Academic Qualifications: Must hold a recognized Doctorate degree in a relevant business discipline with strong evidence of teaching skills and experience.

2. Academic Rank: The candidate's academic rank must not be lower than that of an Associate Professor.

3. Administrative Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of direct administrative experience in a similar leadership position (e.g., Dean, Associate Dean, or Department Head) at a recognized University or College.

   • (Note: Omani national candidates may be granted an exception regarding the years of experience requirement, subject to approval from the Ministry.)

4. Research Excellence: A demonstrated track record of excellent research experience and scholarly publications.

5. Core Competencies: Suitable qualifications combined with administrative and academic experience directly related to the majors offered by the Faculty of Business.

6. Communication Skills: Excellent proficiency in the English language alongside clear and highly effective communication skills.
