Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the post should meet the following requirements:

• Must be an eminent scholar in the field of Sanskrit and allied subjects.

• Qualifications should be in accordance with the regulations framed under the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

• Preference will be given to candidates below 65 years of age as on the closing date of application submission.

Salary and Service Conditions

• Pay: INR 2,10,000 per month (Fixed)

• Special Allowance: INR 11,250 per month

• Additional admissible allowances as per applicable rules.

• Service conditions will be governed by the provisions of the Central Sanskrit Universities Act, 2020 and the Statutes of the University.

Selection Process

The appointment will be made from a panel of three names recommended by a Search-cum-Selection Committee constituted as per the University Statutes.

• Candidates currently serving in Government, Universities, or other institutions should apply through the proper channel and submit the required NOC/Vigilance Clearance Report from their employer.

• Incomplete applications or applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
