The Role of the Director

As the Academic and Administrative Head of the Institute, the Director will provide strategic leadership across several key areas:

• Academic & Research Excellence: Driving innovation, interdisciplinary initiatives, and research-driven growth.

• Institutional Development: Overseeing faculty and student development, accreditation, quality assurance, and overall institutional growth.

• Strategic Partnerships: Strengthening industry and international collaborations, sponsored research, and consultancy.

• Governance: Managing resource allocation, entrepreneurship initiatives, and strategic governance.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

According to DIRECTOR.png, the successful applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: Possession of a Ph.D. degree in Science or Applied Science, with a preference for candidates specializing in Biotechnology, from a reputed University or Institution of national/international repute.

• Academic Record: An outstanding academic record maintained throughout their career.

• Professional Standing: Must be an eminent scholar with significant contributions to research.

• Leadership Experience: At least Ten (10) years of experience serving as a Professor (or equivalent) in Universities, Institutions of National Importance, Research Organizations, or reputed Institutions of Higher Education.
