Job Summary

The Deputy Director – Placements will lead and oversee placement operations for the designated school. The role focuses on developing strong corporate partnerships, improving placement outcomes, and collaborating with academic leadership to create industry-aligned career opportunities for students.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

  • Lead and manage all placement-related activities for the school.

  • Build and maintain relationships with national and international industry partners.

  • Secure quality job opportunities aligned with top B-School standards.

  • Develop and implement placement policies in coordination with the Dean/Director.

  • Strengthen internship programmes, live projects, industry visits, and guest lectures.

  • Oversee the preparation of placement brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.

  • Conduct company visits for student placements and institutional outreach.

  • Develop industry interfaces for training programmes, CEO interaction series, and corporate collaborations.

  • Ensure continuous engagement with recruiters and establish long-term industry partnerships.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • MBA (2-year full-time) from a leading national or international management school.

OR

  • Master's Degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent GPA from a recognized university.

Professional Certifications

The following certifications will be an added advantage:

  • Human Resource Management

  • Marketing

  • Talent Management

  • Other relevant professional certifications

Professional Experience

Applicants should have:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in industry, corporate relations, placements, career services, recruitment, talent acquisition, or related fields.

  • Experience in building corporate partnerships and managing campus placement activities will be preferred.
