Position: Dean & Professor

Academic Qualifications

• MD (Community Medicine) AND

• Ph.D. in Health Management / Public Health / Healthcare Administration / Hospital Management.

Required Experience

• 20+ years of academic, research, and institutional leadership experience in healthcare or public health systems.

• A proven track record in managing academic programs and securing research grants.

• Extensive history of publishing in peer-reviewed journals.

• Strong existing connections within industry and government sectors (healthcare and policy).

Essential Skills

• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.

• Proven capacity to engage stakeholders across academic, government, and healthcare industry sectors.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

1. Academic Leadership & Curriculum Development

• Provide strategic direction for programs in health management and public health.

• Oversee curriculum development, accreditation, and quality assurance.

• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and integrate emerging technologies into academic programs.

2. Research & Innovation

• Lead high-impact research, policy-driven studies, and scholarly publications.

• Secure funding through collaborations with government agencies and global organizations.

• Establish Centers of Excellence in epidemiology, health systems research, and healthcare innovation.

• Encourage faculty and student participation in consultancy and funded projects.
