Several positions are available for an initial period of 9 months commencing on 1 September 2026, with the possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and a Postgraduate degree in one of the following areas:

    • Media and Communications

    • Creative Writing in English

    • English Studies

    • English Literature

    • English Literary Studies

    • Drama

    • Social Media and Emerging Technologies

    • Or another relevant discipline

  • A strong academic background and interest in creative communications and writing.

  • Candidates with a good track record or prior teaching experience will be preferred.


Key Responsibilities

Selected candidates will:

  • Work closely with instructors of the Master of Arts in Creative Communications (MACC) and Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing in English (MFA) programmes.

  • Provide teaching assistance in postgraduate courses.

  • Support course delivery, academic activities, and programme administration.

  • Perform additional duties assigned by the School of English.
