Nagaland University, a Central University established by an Act of Parliament, invites applications from eligible candidates for Project Staff positions under an ICSSR-funded Major Research Project titled “Border Management across India’s Border with Myanmar: Challenges to India’s National Security.” The project is being conducted under the Department of History & Archaeology, Kohima Campus.

Position Details

1. Research Assistant

• Number of Posts: 01

• Monthly Remuneration: INR 37,000

• Tenure: 19 Months

• Essential Qualification:

  • Postgraduate degree in a Social Sciences discipline with a minimum of 55% marks

  • NET/M.Phil./Ph.D. qualification

2. Field Investigator

• Number of Posts: 03

• Monthly Remuneration: INR 20,000

• Tenure: 2 Months (maximum, depending on fieldwork requirements)

• Essential Qualification:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree in a Social Sciences discipline with a minimum of 55% marks
