The National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh (NIT Andhra Pradesh) has announced a walk-in interview for the engagement of Ad-hoc Faculty for the Academic Year 2026–27 in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

Eligible candidates with the required qualifications may attend the walk-in interview on 26 July 2026 at 10:00 AM at the institute campus in Tadepalligudem, Andhra Pradesh.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess a First Class B.Tech./B.E. degree in one of the following areas:

• Computer Science and Engineering

• Electronics Engineering

• Electrical Engineering

• Electronics and Electrical Engineering

• Another relevant branch of Engineering

Applicants must also possess an M.Tech./M.E. degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science and Engineering or another relevant branch of Engineering.

Desirable Qualification

A PhD in the relevant or equivalent discipline is desirable.

Remuneration

The selected candidates will receive consolidated monthly remuneration as follows:

• INR 70,000 per month for candidates with a PhD qualification

• INR 55,000 per month for candidates with an M.Tech. or equivalent qualification

Nature and Duration of Engagement

The appointment will be made on a purely temporary and ad-hoc basis.

The engagement will be terminable on or before 31 May 2027.

The appointment does not create any claim for permanent employment or regularisation at NIT Andhra Pradesh.

Selection Process

The selection process will include:

• Offline lecture demonstration

• Offline interview before a duly constituted Selection Committee

Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their subject knowledge, teaching ability and communication skills during the selection process.

Application Procedure

Candidates must complete the prescribed application form and submit it while appearing for the walk-in interview.

Applicants should report at the institute on 26 July 2026 with the completed application form and all required original documents.

Documents Required

Candidates should carry:

• Completed application form

• Recent passport-size photographs

• Proof of date of birth

• Educational qualification certificates

• Marksheets of all semesters

• Experience certificates, where applicable

• PhD or M.Tech./M.E. degree certificate

• Category certificate, where applicable

• Government-issued identity proof

• Other documents specified in the official notification

Candidates should also carry photocopies of all relevant certificates and documents.

Important Instructions

• No TA or DA will be paid for attending the interview.

• The appointment will be purely temporary and on an ad-hoc basis.

• The contract may be terminated by either party by providing at least 30 days’ notice.

• Candidates must bring all original documents for verification.

• Applications without the required documents may not be considered.

• The institute may change the tentative number of posts depending on its requirements.

Accommodation and Food Facilities

Candidates attending the interview may be provided accommodation at the Institute Guest House or Institute Hostel, subject to availability.

Accommodation will be available on a payment basis according to the applicable room tariff or category.

Food facilities may also be available at the Institute Guest House or Hostel Mess on a payment basis during the candidate’s stay for the interview.
