Position Details

• Post Name: Research Assistant

• Number of Positions: 01

• Job Description: Involves both quantitative (survey-based) and qualitative (interview-based) data collection and analysis. The candidate will assist in preparing research reports and may be required to travel to the field of study.

Educational Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

• Postgraduate in any Social Science discipline.

• Minimum 55% marks in the qualifying degree.

• Preference: Candidates with NET / M.Phil. / Ph.D. will be given priority.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Proficiency in quantitative software (SPSS, AMOS, R, or Smart PLS) and qualitative tools (NVivo).

• Experience conducting interviews/focus groups in Simdega, West Singhbhum, and Gumla.

• Fluency in local dialects to identify socio-cultural barriers.

• Strong track record in mixed-methods research design and drafting high-quality reports.

• Knowledge of PMKVY and entrepreneurial development frameworks within the tribal context of Jharkhand.
