Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

  • Ph.D. degree in any area of Life Sciences

Candidates Awaiting Ph.D. Award

Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting the award of the degree may also apply.

Applicants must provide:

  • A certificate from a competent authority confirming thesis submission

  • Proof that the final viva/defense is pending

Research Requirement

Candidates should demonstrate evidence of conducting high-quality research during or after their Ph.D. programme.


Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with practical experience in:

  • Molecular Biology

  • Cell Biology

  • Biochemistry

  • Biomedical Research

Preferred Technical Skills

  • PCR

  • Quantitative RT-PCR (qRT-PCR)

  • Western Blotting

  • Molecular Cloning

  • Cell Culture Techniques

  • Working with Model Organisms

  • Laboratory-based Biological Research


Fellowship

For Candidates Holding a Ph.D. Degree

  • INR 56,000 per month

  • 10% HRA

For Candidates Awaiting Ph.D. Award

  • INR 42,000 per month

  • 10% HRA

Additional Benefit

  • A nominal research grant will be available under the project.


Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: 35 years

  • Age will be calculated as on the closing date of application submission.
