Project Title

“Development of Lysosomal Zinc-Based Biomarkers for Early Diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease”

The project aims to develop innovative biomarker-based approaches for the early detection of Alzheimer’s disease, contributing to advancements in neurodegenerative disease diagnostics and translational biomedical research.

Position Details

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

• Ph.D. degree in any area of Life Sciences

Candidates Awaiting Ph.D. Award

Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting the award of the degree may also apply.

Applicants must provide:

• A certificate from a competent authority confirming thesis submission

• Proof that the final viva/defense is pending

Research Requirement

Candidates should demonstrate evidence of conducting high-quality research during or after their Ph.D. programme.

Preference will be given to candidates with practical experience in:

• Molecular Biology

Fellowship

For Candidates Holding a Ph.D. Degree

• INR 56,000 per month

• 10% HRA

For Candidates Awaiting Ph.D. Award

• INR 42,000 per month

• 10% HRA

Additional Benefit

• A nominal research grant will be available under the project.
