The Department of Civil Engineering, Zakir Husain College of Engineering & Technology, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) invites online applications from eligible Indian nationals, including Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders, for 01 Guest Teacher position for the Academic Session 2026–27.

The Guest Teacher position is available in the Department of Civil Engineering at Zakir Husain College of Engineering & Technology, AMU.

The appointment is purely temporary and may be terminated at any time without notice or assignment of reason, as stated in the official advertisement.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering, and

• M.E./M.Tech. in Civil Engineering or a relevant branch of Civil Engineering.

• First Class or equivalent academic performance as prescribed in the official notification.

• Degrees should be in the concerned/relevant/allied disciplines as applicable.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference may be given to candidates with:

• Strong academic credentials in Civil Engineering.

• Relevant teaching or academic experience.

• Appropriate specialization in a Civil Engineering-related discipline.

Appointment Conditions

• Appointment will be made on a purely temporary basis.

• The appointment will continue for the 2026–27 academic session or until the Department/College GSC is held, whichever is earlier.

• Remuneration will be paid according to Aligarh Muslim University rules.

• The appointment may be terminated at any time without prior notice or assignment of reason.

• Processing Fee: INR 500

• Payment must be made online through the AMU Careers Portal.

• PwD candidates may be exempt from the prescribed processing fee subject to uploading an authentic disability certificate with the application form.
