About the Role
The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and research in spatial analysis, statistics, quantitative geography, and related environmental applications.
The position is suited to an experienced academic with expertise in advanced quantitative methods and their application to geographical, environmental, or sustainability-related research.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate may be expected to:
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses
Develop modules in spatial and statistical analysis
Conduct internationally recognised research
Publish in high-quality academic journals
Supervise postgraduate and doctoral researchers
Contribute to curriculum and programme development
Build interdisciplinary research collaborations
Participate in departmental and university service
Support research funding applications and external engagement
