About the Role
The selected candidates will contribute to the department’s teaching, research, student supervision, and academic service activities.
The university is seeking scholars with strong research potential, effective teaching capabilities, and the ability to contribute to the continued growth of its programmes in management and entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be expected to:
Teach undergraduate and graduate management courses
Conduct high-quality research in Organisation Theory or Strategic Management
Publish in recognised peer-reviewed journals
Supervise and mentor students
Contribute to curriculum and programme development
Participate in departmental, college, and university service
Build collaborative research relationships
Support the academic mission of the Haslam College of Business
Candidate Profile
Applicants should demonstrate:
A PhD in Management, Strategic Management, Organisation Theory, Business Administration, or a related field
A strong research record or clear potential for high-quality publications
Evidence of effective university-level teaching
Ability to contribute to undergraduate and graduate programmes
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Commitment to academic excellence and institutional service
Candidates applying at the Associate Professor level should possess an established record of research, teaching, and academic contribution appropriate to the rank.
