Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be expected to:

• Design and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and workshops

• Teach specialised subjects with academic rigour

• Improve course content and teaching methods

• Integrate technology and student-centred practices into learning

• Lead the delivery of core subjects and complex modules

• Design, moderate, and grade assessments

• Maintain academic integrity and transparency

• Ensure the timely submission of grades, feedback, and academic reports

• Support curriculum mapping and alignment with Course Learning Outcomes and Programme Learning Outcomes

• Serve as lead assessor or coordinator for selected courses or programmes

Responsibilities for Senior Academics

Senior Lecturer candidates may also be expected to:

• Mentor junior academic staff

• Guide colleagues in effective teaching practices

• Coordinate modules or academic programmes

• Support quality assurance and curriculum-development activities

• Contribute to academic leadership within the faculty
