About the Position
The Division of Landscape Architecture is looking for an academic whose work engages critically with the:
Concepts and theories of landscape architecture
Historical and contemporary approaches to design
Research methodologies and professional practice
Intersections of landscape architecture with ecology and technology
Innovative and interdisciplinary design solutions
The successful candidate will contribute to strengthening the Division’s regional and international collaborations and advancing excellence in research, teaching, and community engagement.
Appointment and Tenure
Initial appointment will be on a three-year fixed-term basis.
The appointment may be renewed for a second three-year term.
Candidates may be considered for tenure before the expiry of the second fixed-term contract, subject to institutional policies and performance.
Essential Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
A terminal degree in Landscape Architecture.
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
Professional qualifications in Landscape Architecture;
A Ph.D. in Landscape Architecture; and/or
Experience in award-winning professional or creative practice.
