The School of English at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) invites applications for Part-time Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer positions in the Master of Arts in Creative Communications (MACC) Programme. Several positions are available, commencing on 1 September 2026, for a period of 4 months (one semester) or 9 months (two semesters), with the possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should possess:

  • A Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline, including:

    • Marketing

    • Business Administration

    • Advertising

    • Public Relations

    • Digital Marketing

    • Media Studies

    • Or other related fields

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least three years of relevant post-qualification teaching experience, or

  • A relevant and proven track record in the field.

Candidates with comparatively less teaching experience may be considered for appointment as Assistant Lecturer.


Key Responsibilities

Selected candidates will:

  • Teach courses within the Master of Arts in Creative Communications (MACC) programme.

  • Deliver teaching in areas related to:

    • Social Media

    • Branding

    • Marketing

    • Other relevant fields of specialization

  • Support postgraduate learning and academic engagement within the programme.
