About the Role

The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels while developing an active and internationally recognized research programme in Construction Business Management.

In addition to teaching and research, the faculty member will be expected to:

• Secure competitive research funding.

• Build national and international academic collaborations.

• Develop new undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

• Supervise graduate students.

• Participate in outreach, knowledge transfer, and university service activities. (Cargos académicos)

Applications are particularly encouraged from candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Real Estate Finance and Investment Management

• Real Estate Development and Project Management

• Business Model Development and Entrepreneurship

• Construction Cost Engineering

• Construction Safety Management

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should possess:

• A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline such as:

  • Construction Engineering

  • Civil Engineering

  • Industrial Engineering

  • Building Engineering

  • Architecture

  • Architectural Engineering

  • Engineering Sciences

  • Related fields

• Strong research potential with an active publication record.

• Commitment to excellence in teaching and research.

• Excellent English language proficiency.

Knowledge of Spanish is not required at the time of application, but the selected candidate should be willing to acquire sufficient proficiency to teach in Spanish within two years. (Cargos académicos)
