The successful candidate will provide academic leadership in Information Management, with expertise spanning areas such as:

• Archival Science

• Records Management

• Information Management Foundations

• Professional Archival Practice

• Digital Preservation

• Analogue Preservation

The role combines research excellence, high-quality teaching, industry engagement, and strategic contributions to the School's academic mission.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Information Management.

• Conduct internationally recognised research.

• Supervise Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students.

• Build strong collaborations with industry and the archives and records sector.

• Contribute to curriculum development, academic leadership, and university service.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should possess:

• A Ph.D. in Information Management, Information Science, Archival Studies, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.

• A distinguished record of research publications and academic achievement.

• Demonstrated excellence in university teaching and student supervision.

• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Experience engaging with industry or professional archival and records management communities will be an advantage.
