The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor at the Centre for Social and Organisational Leadership (CSOL) under the School of Management and Labour Studies.

The position is offered on a contractual basis and is suitable for academics with expertise in organisation development, leadership, human resource management, organisational behaviour, and related disciplines.

Academic Programme

The selected candidate will primarily contribute to the:

Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Organisation Development and Change

The candidate may also be required to teach in other programmes offered by the School of Management and Labour Studies.

Essential Qualification

Applicants should possess:

• A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in a relevant discipline

• NET, SET or SLET qualification

Candidates holding an eligible PhD may be exempted from NET, SET or SLET requirements as per UGC norms.

Remuneration

The selected candidate will receive an entry pay of:

INR 57,700 per month

The remuneration corresponds to Academic Pay Level 10 under the Seventh Central Pay Commission.

The appointment will initially be for one year and may be extended based on:

• Performance of the selected candidate

• Institutional requirements

• Applicable TISS recruitment norms
