The award-winning Department of Business Analytics at the Tippie College of Business, University of Iowa, invites applications for one or more Tenured / Tenure-Track Faculty Positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank starting in Fall 2027.

The department seeks scholars across a wide range of analytical disciplines, with particular interest in candidates specializing in Data Science and/or Supply Chain Management to contribute to its rapidly expanding undergraduate, master's, and Ph.D. programs.

🎓 Qualifications & Candidate Profile

• Education Requirement: An earned doctorate in Business Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Informatics, Logistics, Management Science, Supply Chain, Statistics, or a related field (or strong evidence of completion before August 18, 2027).

• Assistant Professor Rank: Demonstrated potential to publish in top-tier journals, evidence of continuing research productivity, and potential for teaching excellence.

• Associate / Full Professor Ranks: Proven track record of high-impact research publications in top-tier journals/conferences consistent with tenure standards, ongoing research leadership, and a history of working with doctoral students.

• Instructional Experience: Evidence of successful teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level in business analytics, information systems, data science, or supply chain domains.
