Roles and Responsibilities

The selected Associate Professor will contribute to the institute's ecosystem through the following mandates:

• Academic Delivery: Responsible for teaching, mentoring, advising, and providing core academic services aligned with the institute's mission and vision.

• Scholastic Research: Actively pursue high-impact research leading to publications in reputed, high-quality journals.

• Strategic Growth: Contribute consistently to establishing the Department of Economics & Policy as a global center of excellence.

Desired Profile & Eligibility Criteria

Standard Academic Track:

• Educational Background: Ph.D. with a First Class (or equivalent) in the Economics area/specialization, paired with an excellent academic record throughout.

• Experience Parameters: A minimum of 6 years of teaching, industry, or research experience. Out of this, at least 3 years must be at the level of Assistant Professor at IIMs or other peer institutions in India or abroad.

• Research Metrics: Demonstrated experience in independent research, evidenced by peer-reviewed publications in reputed journals, presentations at refereed conferences, innovative course development, or other recognized professional activities.

Alternative Professional Track:

• Outstanding managers or industry professionals with established reputations and significant contributions to knowledge may also be considered for appointment, even if they do not possess a Ph.D. degree.
