Essential Profile and Qualifications

Applicants should demonstrate:

• At least five years of experience as a Professor or in an equivalent position

• An outstanding record of research and teaching

• Strong academic leadership and institutional contribution

• Expertise that strengthens, broadens, or complements the University’s existing programmes

• Current or previous affiliation with a reputed university or institution of eminence

Faculty members working in government universities or institutions may also be considered for appointment on deputation for a fixed term.

Nationality and Work Visa

Citizens of all countries are eligible to apply.

Candidates from SAARC Member Nations are particularly encouraged. Selected international candidates will be recommended for consideration for an Indian work visa.

Salary and Benefits

The position offers an annual salary ranging from:

INR 30,000 to INR 45,000

The salary may be fixed above the minimum level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Additional benefits may include:

• University accommodation or House Rent Allowance equal to 25% of basic salary

• Employer contribution of 10% of basic salary toward the pension fund

• Cost of Living Increase, as approved from time to time

• Annual increment of 3% in basic salary

• Privileges and immunities under the SAU Act, 2008, and the Headquarters Agreement

Salary and allowances are exempt from income tax.
