Overview of Role

The School of Business at Rutgers University–Camden invites applications for Part-Time Lecturers to teach courses across undergraduate and graduate business disciplines for the AY 2026/2027 academic year.

Instruction takes place during the day on-campus at Rutgers–Camden, at partner offsite locations (Camden County Community College in Blackwood, Mercer County Community College in West Windsor, and Brookdale Community College in Lincroft), with additional online teaching opportunities available.

Subject Disciplines & Course Openings

Lecturers are needed across a variety of business subjects, including:

• Introduction to Business

• Statistics

• Information Technology

• Optimization and Modeling

• Business of Sports

• Business Communications

• Marketing Analytics

Key Responsibilities & Instructional Duties

• Build and modify the course section in alignment with school guidelines, including syllabus adaptation, textbook vetting, and assessment design.

• Organize and maintain course materials on the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS).

• Deliver scheduled instruction, conduct regular virtual office hours, and respond to student inquiries promptly.

• Provide timely academic feedback on assessments and adhere strictly to institutional grading submission policies.

Qualifications & Candidate Profile

• Required Education: Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in addition to a bachelor’s degree in a relevant business or analytical discipline.

• Teaching Experience: Prior teaching experience at the higher education level is required.

• Industry/Research Background: Relevant industry practice or active research experience is strongly encouraged for specialized subjects.
