About the Role
The successful candidate will provide strategic academic leadership in research and teaching while helping shape the future direction of the Department of Marketing.
The role includes leading internationally recognized research, publishing in top-tier journals, securing external research funding, mentoring academic colleagues, and strengthening the department's global reputation.
The Professor will also contribute to curriculum development, interdisciplinary initiatives, public engagement, industry collaboration, equality and inclusion activities, and the supervision of doctoral researchers.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
Provide research leadership within the Department of Marketing.
Publish world-leading research in internationally recognized journals.
Secure competitive national and international research funding.
Develop and implement the department's long-term research strategy.
Deliver research-led teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Supervise and mentor Ph.D. students and early-career researchers.
Build national and international academic collaborations.

Essential Requirements

A Ph.D. in Marketing or a closely related discipline.

Extensive experience supervising Ph.D. students to successful completion.
