NIT Warangal Walk-in Interview 2026 for Visiting and Part-Time Assistant Professors

The National Institute of Technology Warangal has announced a walk-in interview for the recruitment of Visiting Assistant Professors and a Part-Time Assistant Professor in Sanskrit in the Department of Education.

The appointments will be purely temporary and will continue until the completion of academic responsibilities for the current semester, expected to conclude in November/December 2026.

• Visiting Assistant Professor

• Part-Time Assistant Professor – Sanskrit

Eligibility Criteria

Visiting Assistant Professor

Candidates should possess:

• First Class in M.A./M.Sc.

• M.Ed. degree

• National Eligibility Test (NET) or State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) qualification in the relevant subject

A Ph.D. in Education is desirable.

Candidates should also have knowledge of:

• Pedagogy in Mathematics; or

• Pedagogy in Physical Science

Part-Time Assistant Professor – Sanskrit

Candidates should possess:

• First Class in M.A. Sanskrit or an equivalent qualification

A Ph.D. in the relevant discipline is desirable.

Desirable Experience

Candidates with a minimum of one year of teaching experience in a reputed college will be preferred.

Remuneration

• Visiting Assistant Professor: INR 70,000 per month

• Part-Time Assistant Professor: INR 2,000 per hour

• Interview Date: 15 July 2026, Wednesday

• Interview Time: 9:00 AM

• Reporting and Registration Time: 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM

• Venue: Office of the Head, Department of Education, C/o Department of Mathematics, NIT Warangal

Eligible candidates should appear for the walk-in interview with:

• Duly completed prescribed application form

• Original educational and experience certificates

• Self-attested photocopies of all certificates

• Degree certificates

• Marksheets

• Category certificate, where applicable

• Other relevant supporting documents

Important Instructions

• Candidates must bring all relevant original certificates for verification.

• The appointment is purely temporary and does not provide any right or claim for regular appointment.

• Candidates belonging to OBC-NCL, SC, ST, EWS or PwD categories should submit the applicable category certificate in the prescribed Government of India format.

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

• The Head of the Department of Education may be contacted for clarification regarding eligibility.

• The engagement will remain valid until the completion of academic responsibilities for the current semester.
