Essential Qualifications

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

• Ph.D. in the relevant or equivalent discipline.

• First Class in all preceding degrees.

• Where First Class is not specifically mentioned, candidates must have secured:

  • Minimum 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale), or

  • 60% aggregate marks.

• Candidates having CGPA on scales other than 10 points should provide an equivalent conversion as per institute norms.

Educational qualifications, experience, credit points, and other recruitment conditions shall be governed by the latest Government of India/MoE faculty recruitment norms for NITs.

Roles and Responsibilities

Selected faculty members will be expected to:

• Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

• Conduct impactful research and publish in reputed journals.

• Supervise student projects and research scholars.

• Develop innovative curriculum and laboratory courses.

• Participate in departmental administration and institutional development.

• Contribute to consultancy, sponsored research, and outreach activities.
