Faculty Recruitment 2026: NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad

NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Govt. of India, is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor (Maritime Law) for its Shameerpet campus.

Eligibility and Experience

• Category A (Assistant Professor): Candidates must possess an LL.M. in Maritime Law with at least 55% marks and have cleared UGC-NET/SET. A minimum of five years of experience in Maritime Law or International Maritime Law is required. The upper age limit is 35 years as of 30-04-2026.

• Category B (Professor of Practice): Candidates must have proven senior expertise in Maritime/International Maritime Law with a minimum of 15 years of experience. The upper age limit is 45 years as of 30-04-2026.

Selection Process

Applications will be scrutinized by a Screening Committee. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview, which will determine the final selection. Fluency in English is mandatory for all applicants.
