About the Role

The Senior Lecturer (Education Focused) will play a key role in advancing innovation, high-quality teaching, and learning across Monash Business School's online portfolio. Working closely with the Leadership and Executive Education (LEE) group, the successful candidate will contribute to the strategic and operational delivery of the MBA (Digital) and other online and blended postgraduate programmes.

A major component of the role involves serving as Course Director for the MBA (Digital) for an initial three-year term, providing academic leadership and ensuring the programme's continued quality, relevance, and success.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

• Provide academic leadership for the MBA (Digital) programme.

• Lead curriculum design, delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Deliver high-quality teaching across online and blended learning programmes.

• Coordinate programmes and contribute to strategic educational initiatives.

• Build capability in digital pedagogy and innovative teaching practices across the School.

• Support industry engagement and leadership development activities.

• Ensure excellence in digital course delivery and student experience.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and maintain strong partnerships supporting online education.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should possess:

• A PhD or equivalent accreditation and professional standing in a relevant discipline.

• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, particularly within MBA programmes and online learning environments.

• Experience in curriculum development, programme leadership, and course coordination.

• A strong commitment to educational innovation and scholarship.

• Evidence of scholarly research and/or professional activities relevant to the discipline.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
