Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

• BSMS (Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery)

• MD (Varma Medicine)

from recognized institutions as per applicable regulations.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Extensive knowledge of:

  • Traditional Siddha Medicine

  • Siddha therapeutic practices

  • Varmam principles and treatment methodologies

• Experience in:

  • Siddha Varmatherapy

  • Siddha clinical practice

  • Siddha research and academic activities

• Strong interest in teaching, research, and integrative healthcare approaches.

Key Responsibilities

The selected Assistant Professors will be expected to:

• Teach Siddha Medicine and Varma Medicine courses.

• Conduct research in Siddha and integrative medicine.

• Participate in academic and clinical activities of the Division of Siddha.

• Contribute to curriculum development and student mentoring.

• Support interdisciplinary collaborations within CIMR.

• Publish research findings and engage in scholarly activities.
