Research Area

The selected candidate will conduct research in:

• Green catalyst design

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Hold a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.

• Demonstrate strong research achievements in advanced energy-related fields.

• Be capable of leading independent research and contributing to interdisciplinary collaborations.

Appointment Details

• Employment Type: Tenure-Track Associate Professor

• Contract Duration: 7 years (No reappointment)

• Tenure Evaluation: Eligible for tenure review within 4–5.5 years in accordance with Kyoto University's tenure-track regulations.

• Expected Start Date: As early as possible.

• Probation Period: 6 months

Salary & Benefits

• Salary will be determined according to Kyoto University regulations.

• Eligible for MEXT mutual aid association membership, pension, employment insurance, and workers' compensation insurance.
