Pay Structure

• Position: Assistant Professor (Grade-I/Grade-II)

• Starting Basic Pay Range: INR 84,700 – INR 1,01,500 per month

• Basic pay will be fixed based on relevant post-PhD experience.

Essential Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• A PhD degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering or allied areas.

• A first-class degree in the preceding degree.

• A consistently strong academic record throughout.

Candidates with a Bachelor’s and PhD degree in Chemical Engineering and an additional background in Data Analytics are especially encouraged to apply.

Experience Requirements

Assistant Professor Grade-I

• Academic Pay Level 12.

• Minimum three years of teaching, research, or industrial experience (excluding the period spent pursuing PhD).

Assistant Professor Grade-II

• Academic Pay Level 10/11.

• Fresh PhD graduates or candidates without adequate experience may be considered on a contract basis, typically for a duration of three years.

Fresh PhD candidates are eligible to apply.

Reservation Policy

Reservation for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD categories will be applicable as per the norms of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. Candidates claiming reservation benefits must attach valid certificates issued by the competent authority.
