The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu has announced a Special Recruitment Drive for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates for faculty positions. Applications are invited from qualified Indian nationals with a strong commitment to teaching and research. Eligible candidates can apply online for positions across multiple disciplines.

Available Positions

Applications are invited for the following faculty positions:

• Professor

• Associate Professor

• Assistant Professor Grade-I

• Assistant Professor Grade-II

Pay Scale

Professor

• Academic Pay Level: 14A

• Pay Scale: INR 1,59,100 – INR 2,20,200

• Minimum Basic Pay: INR 1,59,100 per month

Associate Professor

• Academic Pay Level: 13A2

• Pay Scale: INR 1,39,600 – INR 2,11,300

• Minimum Basic Pay: INR 1,39,600 per month

Assistant Professor Grade-I

• Academic Pay Level: 12

• Pay Scale: INR 1,01,500 – INR 1,67,400

• Minimum Basic Pay: INR 1,01,500 per month

Assistant Professor Grade-II

• Entry-level appointment in Academic Pay Level 10 (INR 57,700 – INR 1,82,400) with a minimum basic pay of INR 70,900 per month.

• Eligible for movement to Academic Level 11 after successful completion of one year post-Ph.D. experience.

HRA and other allowances will be applicable as per Central Government Rules.

Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline with a consistently good academic record throughout their academic career.

• Additional qualifications, experience, and research achievements as prescribed by IIT Jammu for the respective faculty positions.

Eligibility

• PwD
